Friday Night Fisticuffs is our monthly tournament we hold every Friday mid-way through the month, where we have a competition, games set up to play, and most importantly CASH PRIZES!

At our last tournament…

NAVA Gamer's Gathering, April 30th: "NAVA in Space!"

NAVA = North Atlantic Videogame Aficionados. This is a FREE event bringing gamers together for competition, trading, & chatter.

Previously at NAVA...
- In our last episode we celebrated the Legend of Zelda series with ‘The Legend of NAVA”.
-We set-up the ultimate Four Swords Adventure set up with 4 GameCubes with GameBoy Players & portable screens all hooked up to 1 GameCube.
-Our tournament used this ultimate set up for the Four Swords: Shadow Battle tournament & the winner was really the Cuccos but Christian was declared the human winner.
- The arcade challenge was Valkyrie no Densetsu & Chris A. won with 118,980 points, & walked away with a $20 gift certificate as his prize.
- Games & systems traded hands between attendees who brought their own trade boxes.

Street Fighter V Tournament, April 22nd

Friday Night Fisticuffs is our monthly tournament we hold every Friday mid-way through the month, where we have a competition, games set up to play, and most importantly CASH PRIZES!

At our last tournament…

-We had a Super Smash bros. for WiiU tournament, & we had a full house!
-This tournament also marked the return of the Oh-So-Hyped Amiibo Tournament & SavageChu won.
-As for the main tournament T.K.O. took third place, Gunblade took second and Angel Cortez once again walked away our grand champion.

NAVA Gamer's Gathering, March 26th: "The Legend of NAVA: A Zelda Themed Event"

NAVA = North Atlantic Videogame Aficionados. This is a FREE event bringing gamers together for competition, trading, & chatter.

Previously at NAVA...
- In our last episode, it was PokeMania! We celebrated Pokemon’s 20th anniversary.
-We had lots of Pokemon games set-up, a TCG table & even a Pokemon museum.
-Our tournament was Pokemon Stadium Mini-games & Chobo won & took home the Master Ball trophy.
- The arcade challenge was PuckMan PokiMon & Joey D. won with 155,910 points, & walked away with a $20 gift certificate as his prize.
- Games & systems traded hands between attendees who brought their own trade boxes.

Super Smash Bros. for WiiU Tournament March 18th

-We held our first FIFA 16 tournament and Joshua C. was our champion.
-The tournament began at 7PM and ended around 9PM
-The top 3 players won themselves some cash prizes!

-Our tournament was Cyborg Justice and Aristotle won.

-We held our “Last” Ultra Street Fighter IV Tournament before Street Fighter V hit the scene.
-We also had a Capcom Vs. SNK 2 tournament as well.
-Danslip was able to keep his title as our Ultra Street Fighter IV champion.

The Last Ultra Street Fighter IV Tournament, January 22nd

At our last tournament…

-We had a Super Smash Bros. for WiiU to help benefit the Clifton High Robotics Club; and our winner was Riz K. too first place!
-The week after that we had a somewhat “Students Only” Super Smash Bros. for WiiU Team Tournament. The winning team went by the name “Christ….OK” which was actually just their reaction when we asked them they needed a team name.
-Lots of money was raised and we were able to help send some kids in the Clifton High Robotics Club off to the finals!

At our last tournament…

-We held our second Ultra Street Fighter IV tournament with a pretty decent turn out.
-Just like last time we had to delay the tournament an hour because of traffic issues surrounding the store. Some people are just too afraid of losing so they have to resort to foul play on the turnpike.
-The tournament was over before 10PM with some fierce competition!
-Most importantly though, the top 3 players won cash prizes!

NAVA Gamer's Gathering, November 28th: "Celebrating Digital Press Videogames 10th Anniversary & 20 Years of NAVA"

- In our last episode, we celebrated the season of cosplay with our annual Halloween NAVA.
- Our tournament was Dark Stalkers 3 & the Blockbuster employee Mike R. won.
- The arcade challenge was Golly! Ghosts! And Digital Press’ own Grand Master of Events Leo A. won with 270 points and walked away with a $20 Gift Certificate.
- We had our annual costume contest & Brandon won as the “Nintendo World Service Mario” and walked away with $50 in store credit.

Ultra Street Fighter IV Tournament, November 20th: "Tur-Ha-Duck-En" FNF

Friday Night Fisticuffs is our monthly tournament we hold every Friday mid-way through the month, where we have a competition, games set up to play, and most importantly CASH PRIZES!

We will be at Toy Con NJ in Parsippany, NJ. Nov. 14th & 15th

Digital Press Videogames is proud to be a part of Toy Con NJ, supplying retro games for their event. What will we be brining for everyone to play? We will be brining such consoles like the Nintendo Entertainment system with games like Super Mario Bros. 3, Duck Hunt, Battletoads, Mike Tyson’s Punch-Out!!, Castlevania and many more. There will also be the Sega Genesis with Sonic the Hedgehog, Golden Axe, Sonic & Knuckles, Altered Beast, Mutant League Football, and even more. Even the Atari 2600 will be there with oldies like Adventure, Pong, Centipede, Pac-Man, Pitfall!, and then some! That’s just the tip of the iceberg we will have many others like Super Smash Bros.
