NAVA = North Atlantic Videogame Aficionados. This is a FREE event bringing gamers together for competition, trading, and chatter.

Previously at NAVA...

- We hosted a full-scale HALO 2 LAN party using multiple OG XBox systems.

- The tournament was HALO 2, Matt out-blasted all competitors to earn the $20 prize.

- The arcade challenge was ALIENS. The high score winner was Aristotle whose 119000 score earned the coveted $20 gift certificate.

- Gamers, collectors and friends shared their recent adventures and sold or traded their goods.

In This Month's NAVA: We're celebrating THIRTY YEARS of TEKKEN! Namco's PS1 classic was released in 1994 and its various sequels and spinoffs have appeared on virtually every console and handheld since. What's your favorite Tekken? From the final Tekken on PS1 (Tekken 3) to the beloved PS2 entries (peaking at Tekken 5), we'll have a whole bunch of battlin' action to partake in on multiple systems set up throughout the store over the course of this day of celebration.

Arcade Challenge: We're going to make this one a game-day decision! Be the best at this game on this one day by logging the highest score on our arcade cabinet by 9pm and win a nifty $20 gift certificate. Arcade challenge games are set to FREE PLAY all day, but please remember to let everyone get a shot. If you get the high score, move on, and no hogging the cabinet! Also if you have won last month’s arcade challenge you are not eligible to win this month’s challenge.

6PM Tournament: The latest installment in the series, TEKKEN 8 is our headlining act at this event. Released in January of this year, everyone has had plenty of time to find their best character and show the battle-hardened gamers of NAVA who's best. Is it YOU? Let's find out. Sign-ups begin at 3pm, the tournament starts after 6pm in this first-come, first-served and as always at NAVA, FREE-to-join tournament.

Remember, you can bring a box or two of your trade goodies. We'll help you administer sales and get you set up somewhere in the store to sell your goods, there is no charge for this perk, NAVA is the time for trading! Also, if you have a Digital Press or NAVA t-shirt, wear them for a for an additional 5% discount on the store's already low-low prices!
