Previously at NAVA...

- We celebrated the anniversary of Hudson's BOMBERMAN on consoles and arcade.

- The arcade challenge was DYNABLASTER, a port by Irem. The high score winner walked away with a $20 gift certificate.

- Gamers, collectors and friends shared their recent adventures and sold or traded their goods.

In This Month's NAVA: HALO 2. We've got a special setup this month, an eight-player LAN PARTY for HALO 2 all at the front of the store. Mix it up with NAVA regulars and HALO ringers as we play the OG game the way it was meant to be played - with your teammates and enemies playing nearby!

Arcade Challenge: OK this is a bit of a stretch but hear us out. There aren't any great "first person shooters" from the old arcade era that aren't light gun games, but we thought Konami's 1990 ALIENS would be the best representative for this event. No, Ellen Ripley isn't a Space Commander per se but she's a Warrant Officer on a commercial star ship fighting aliens is close enough. PLUS, with Alien: Romulus out, we're also being topical! Be the best at this game on this one day by logging the highest score on our arcade cabinet by 9pm and win a nifty $20 gift certificate. Arcade challenge games are set to FREE PLAY all day, but please remember to let everyone get a shot. If you get the high score, move on, and no hogging the cabinet! Also if you have won last month’s arcade challenge you are not eligible to win this month’s challenge.

6PM Tournament: Think we set this all up without the tournament in mind? It's a HALO 2 LAN PARTY and you're invited to play! Eight players, top four scores go to the next round. Are you the HALO 2 Master Chief of NJ? Let's find out. Sign-ups begin at 3pm, the tournament starts after 6pm in this first-come, first-served and as always at NAVA, FREE-to-join tournament.

Remember, you can bring a box or two of your trade goodies. We'll help you administer sales and get you set up somewhere in the store to sell your goods, there is no charge for this perk, NAVA is the time for trading! Also, if you have a Digital Press or NAVA t-shirt, wear them for a for an additional 5% discount on the store's already low-low prices!
