NAVA = North Atlantic Videogame Aficionados. This is a FREE event bringing gamers together for competition, trading, and chatter.

Previously at NAVA...

- We celebrated Megalophobia, the fear of gigantic things.

- The arcade challenge was INSECTOR X. The high score winner earned the coveted "arcade champion" $20 gift certificate.

- The 6pm tournament was PS2 MICRO MACHINES. Chris R was crowned "Tiniest Champion Racer" and walked off with a $20 gift certificate.

- Gamers, collectors and friends shared their recent adventures and sold or traded their goods.

In This Month's NAVA: Since the dawn of time, mankind has been fascinated with things that ROLL. Example: THE WHEEL. We're fascinated too. Monkey Ball, Marble Madness, Katamari, BC's Quest For Tires, Ballblazer. Everything Pinball. Everything Bowling. Where do we draw the line?! You'll have to show up to see HOW WE ROLL.

Arcade Challenge: OK, Let. It. Roll! In the arcade game CAMELTRY, your goal is to guide the ball through the maze to the exit. This is a great game, kind of an undiscovered gem and worth trying even if you're not competing. Do you have the balls... going into the goal in the shortest amount of time? Put up the best score on this game by 9pm and win a nifty $20 gift certificate. Arcade challenge games are set to FREE PLAY all day, but please remember to let everyone get a shot. If you get the high score, move on, and no hogging the game! Also if you have won last month’s arcade challenge you are not eligible to win this month’s challenge.

6PM Tournament: Let's get real here. This entire event was fabricated so we could all play SUPER MONKEY BALL together! We'll do a 2-on-2 using a GameCube in a 16-player round robin donnybrook. Who will "monkey around" on their way to becoming a NAVA champion? Sign-ups begin at 3pm, the tournament starts after 6pm in this first-come, first-served and as always at NAVA, FREE-to-join tournament. Winners receive a $20 gift certificate!

Remember, you can bring a box or two of your trade goodies. We'll help you administer sales and get you set up somewhere in the store to sell your goods, there is no charge for this perk, NAVA is the time for trading! Also, if you have a Digital Press or NAVA t-shirt, wear them for a for an additional 5% discount on the store's already low-low prices!
