NAVA = North Atlantic Videogame Aficionados. This is a FREE event bringing gamers together for competition, trading, and chatter.

Previously at NAVA...

- We celebrated mercenary-themed games in what would be a day of mayhem.

- The arcade challenge was CONTRA. The high score winner was Jason V whose high score of 213,600 score earned the coveted $20 gift certificate.

- Gamers, collectors and friends shared their recent adventures and sold or traded their goods.

In This Month's NAVA: We have not done a Guitar Hero event in a long, long time and so much has been added to the franchise over the past few years. The pandemic seemed to be the catalyst to people busting out their old guitars again, so we're busting ours out for the day. There will be other rhythm-themed games running free to play all over the store as well!

Arcade Challenge: Now where are we gonna find a game where players battle using only their guitars? Well guess what? In 1986 Konami released an arcade game where players fight with a guitar. Rock 'n Rage is a scrolling "run and gun" style arcade game that's sure to ROCK your world. Be the best at this game on this one day by logging the highest score on our arcade cabinet by 9pm and win a nifty $20 gift certificate. Arcade challenge games are set to FREE PLAY all day, but please remember to let everyone get a shot. If you get the high score, move on, and no hogging the cabinet! Also if you have won last month’s arcade challenge you are not eligible to win this month’s challenge.

6PM Tournament: Naturally, Guitar Hero is this event's game of choice for the traditional 6pm square-off. Using the Guitar Hero Definitive Edition (which includes all of the GH, Rock Band and Band Hero songs), we'll have a head-to-head guitar battle for NAVA supremacy. Are you our local area's HERO? Let's find out. Sign-ups begin at 3pm, the tournament starts after 6pm in this first-come, first-served and as always at NAVA, FREE-to-join tournament.

Remember, you can bring a box or two of your trade goodies. We'll help you administer sales and get you set up somewhere in the store to sell your goods, there is no charge for this perk, NAVA is the time for trading! Also, if you have a Digital Press or NAVA t-shirt, wear them for a for an additional 5% discount on the store's already low-low prices!
