Previously at NAVA...

- We celebrated all things Mega Man, who is in his fortieth year!

- The tournament was a head to head high score rush using the original MEGA MAN on NES, Walter emerged as champion, taking the $20 gift certificate.

- The arcade challenge was MEGA MAN: THE POWER BATTLE. The high score was 552,700 also for Walter (!) earning him a second $20 gift certificate.

- Gamers, collectors and friends shared their recent adventures and sold or traded their goods.

In This Month's NAVA: Let's all go to the movies! This day belongs to videogames in cinema, as we set up our projector and our favorite movies (with videogame tie ins) will be playing along with game systems set up around the store to play within those movies. Movie tie-ins to games get a pretty bad rap but there are some gems for sure. Come see what we mean.

Arcade Challenge: In June 1990, "RoboCop 2" was released to theaters to lukewarm reception. In 1991, Data East created their own side-scrolling shooter to represent the movie, aptly titled ROBOCOP 2. Be the best at this game on this one day by logging the highest score on our arcade cabinet by 9pm and win a nifty $20 gift certificate. Arcade challenge games are set to FREE PLAY all day, but please remember to let everyone get a shot. If you get the high score, move on, and no hogging the cabinet! Also if you have won last month’s arcade challenge you are not eligible to win this month’s challenge.

6PM Tournament: We're going to play possibly the best movie tie-in of all time, GOLDENEYE 007 for Nintendo 64. Likely rules - Players: 4 per round. Scenario: Normal. Level: Stack, Basement, Complex, or Facility. Game Length: 10 minutes. Oddjob: NO. Weapons: All except Golden Gun, Throwing Knives, and Slappers. Health: Default. Sights ON. Auto Aim ON. Radar ON. Who will prove to be the top spy? Let's find out. Sign-ups begin at 3pm, the tournament starts after 6pm and its first-come, first-served in this FREE-to-join tournament. Winner gets a $20 gift certificate!

Remember, feel free to bring a box or two of your trade goodies. We'll help you administer sales and get you set up somewhere in the store to sell your goods. NAVA is a time for trading!
