NAVA = North Atlantic Videogame Aficionados. This is a FREE event bringing gamers together for competition, trading, and chatter.

Previously at NAVA...
- It was a few days before Halloween, many attendees showed off their holiday spirit in costume! CASH prizes were given to our third place Drew (Link), second place Dorian (Indiana Jones) and winning entry Mike R (Sub-Zero).
- The arcade challenge was HAUNTED CASTLE. The high score of the night earned a $20 gift certificate.
- The 6pm tournament event was NIGHT WARRIORS. Top battler Ryan M received a $20 gift certificate for skill in battle.
- Gamers, collectors and friends shared their recent adventures and sold or traded their goods.

In This Month's NAVA: How about a little KIRBY Mania? Kirby first appeared on the Game Boy in Kirby's Dream Land in 1992. He's got tons of powers all centered around his ability to inhale objects and other creatures and spit them out as various types of missiles. This is often referred to as "copy abilities". Since 1992 we've seen Kirby in FORTY different games on almost every Nintendo system since. We're going to showcase those games on the free-to-play stations around the store.

Arcade Challenge: Atari's Food Fight launched in arcades in March 1983 and is a perfect complement to what Kirby does: CONSUME! Guide Charley Chuck to all of the ice cream he can eat while (food) fighting off the pseky chefs. Be the best at this game on this one day by logging the highest score on our arcade cabinet by 9pm and win a nifty $20 gift certificate. Arcade challenge games are set to FREE PLAY all day, but please remember to let everyone get a shot. If you get the high score, move on, and no hogging the cabinet! Also if you have won last month’s arcade challenge you are not eligible to win this month’s challenge.

6pm Tournament: In KIRBY FIGHTERS 2 on Nintendo Switch, players will choose a version of Kirby based on his "copy abilities" from previous games. In this head-to-head battle, who will be the KIRBY-est of them all Let's find out. Sign-ups begin at 3pm, the tournament starts after 6pm and its first-come, first-served in this FREE-to-join tournament.

Remember, feel free to bring a box or two of your trade goodies. We'll help you administer sales and get you set up somewhere in the store to sell your goods. NAVA is a time for trading! Also, if you have a Digital Press or NAVA t-shirt, wear them for a for an additional 5% discount on our already low-low prices!
