NAVA = North Atlantic Videogame Aficionados. This is a FREE event bringing gamers together for competition, trading, and chatter.

Previously at NAVA...
- In our last episode, you had to "be there or be square", where we showcased some pretty blocky-looking games that are also loads of fun.
- The arcade game challenge was "Targ".. Spencer T put up the high score of the day (4470) and walked away with a cool $20.
- Games and systems traded hands between attendees who brought their own trade boxes.

In This Month's NAVA: GET READY to see videogames in new ways, or perhaps not see them at all! We will attempt to set some world records and stir up excitement in the gaming community beyond just our local group of friends lucky enough to join us in person. Come experience old NES favorites like NEVER BEFORE. See if you get your "feelings" hurt if you don't have the "gamers touch" in our COMMUNITY CHALLENGE. Everything is a fresh take on familiar games and themes. Looking for something completely different at a NAVA? This is the one!

Arcade challenge! Everyone has played Namco's Galaga, it's one of the simplest games to "pick up and play". NOT the way we have it set up. Be the best at this game on this one day by logging the highest score on our arcade cabinet by 9pm and win a nifty $20 gift certificate. Arcade challenge games are set to FREE PLAY all day, but please remember to let everyone get a shot. If you get the high score, move on, and no hogging the cabinet! Also if you have won last month’s arcade challenge you are not eligible to win this month’s challenge.

Tournament! Most everyone has played Smash Bros Ultimate on the Switch by now. A FEW of you might have even seen the preview to a whole new way to play this game at last months NAVA, but we will have a full setup this time for a truly WACKY Smash Bros Tournament! Detailed rules to be announced but trust that this will be anything but normal. Who among NAVA members has the skills? Let's find out. Sign-ups begin at 3pm, the tournament starts after 6pm and its first-come, first-served in this FREE-to-join tournament.
