Previously at NAVA...
- In our last episode, we payed homage to the great fighting game franchises. Yet no one attendee was harmed in the making of this event.
- The 6pm tournament was Mortal Kombat Trilogy for N64. Our champion was Smash Bry. He FINISHED.. HIM. AND HER. AND EVERYONE.
- The arcade challenge was King of Fighters 2001. Rob K proved to be the toughest player around with 440,100 points, earning the respect and admiration of gamers everywhere. Also $20.
- Games and systems traded hands between attendees who brought their own trade boxes.

Tekken 7 Tournament, July 21st

Friday Night Fisticuffs is our monthly tournament we hold every Friday mid-way through the month, where we have a competition, games set up to play, and most importantly CASH PRIZES!

At our last tournament…

-We held a Super Smash Bros. for WiiU Tournament, which marked three years straight holding monthly tournaments.
-The Amiibo tournament champion was Brooke’s Toon Link Amiibo named Lonk & they took home a $12.99 gift certificate.
-Our top 3 competitors were Hippo Knight in third, GunBlade in second & Riz was our champion for the night.

- In our last episode since we all couldn’t go to TooManyGames in Philly we had our own con; NotEnoughGames Expo!
- There were games to play, passes to wear, & tournaments to win.
- Our tournament was Super Smash Bros. for the Nintendo 64 & Kyle Smyth won & took home the TooManyGames 3-day pass.
- The arcade challenge was Twinkle Star Sprites & Brian C. won with 930,660 points, & walked away with a $20 gift certificate as his prize.
- Games & systems traded hands between attendees who brought their own trade boxes.

Mario kart 8 Tournament, July 22nd

Friday Night Fisticuffs is our monthly tournament we hold every Friday mid-way through the month, where we have a competition, games set up to play, and most importantly CASH PRIZES!

At our last tournament…
-We had a Super Smash bros for WiiU tournament with a great turn-out.
-This tournament also hosted the ever popular Amiibo Tournament & Gio V.’s Gannondorf Amiibo “Tweedle-Dee” won & Gio V. earned himself a gift certificate for $12.99.
-As for the regular tournament “Pawclaw” won third, “Hippo Knight” won second, & “Dugan” won first & all 3 took home cash prizes.
-The champion “Dugan” was later challenged by the Amiibo champion “Tweedle-Dee” & won making him our first human Grand Smash Champion.

NAVA = North Atlantic Videogame Aficionados. This is a FREE event bringing gamers together for competition, trading, and chatter.

Previously at NAVA...
- In last month's event, we hosted our very first live auction. Items won by attendees include Sega 32X Web of Fire, a Vectrex console, a complete collection of Suikoden games and strategy guides and much more.
- Multi-player games filled the player galleries, including 4-player setups of GoldenEye, Smash Bros Melee and Bomberman '93.
- The arcade challenge was Williams' JOUST. Jeff Spega scored the day's high of 73,650 and won the $20 prize.
- Games and systems traded hands between attendees who brought their own trade boxes.

NAVA Gamer's Gathering, July 27th: "Second Generation"

NAVA = North Atlantic Videogame Aficionados. This is a FREE event bringing gamers together for competition, trading, and chatter.

Previously at NAVA...
- We returned from E3 in June to pay homage to the current generation of game systems: XBox 360, PlayStation 3, Nintendo Wii.
- The arcade challenge was Vs. Dr. Mario, Chris A once again took the loot with a high score of 110,000.
- The 6pm tournament was PlayStation All-Stars, Mike Rosamilia emerged victorious.
- A new arcade cabinet, DJ MAX Technika 3, was unveiled.
- Games and systems traded hands between attendees who brought their own trade boxes.

Friday Night Fisticuffs: Smash Bros. Brawl! July 19th

Have you ever wanted to settle a disagreement with a good, old-fashioned throwdown? Have you ever wanted to bludgeon your best friend for neglecting to return the five bucks you lent him? Have you ever felt like throwing your little brother off a cliff for being a sniveling, little, annoying snotball?

Well, you can't. That's murder, and that's illegal.

Previously at NAVA...

- In June, we pretended it was wintertime by setting up a plastic snowman and playing winter-based videogames.
- The arcade challenge was for Konami's Pengo. Clifton's own Mike Purdy walked away with the cash prize.
- The tournament was "fastest down the mountain", which basically meant score the best time on Mountain Madness Super Pro Skiing for Intellivision. Up-and-coming challenger Frank Minichini walked away victorious.

- Games and systems traded hands between attendees who brought their own trade boxes.
