This Month's NAVA: It’s that magical time of year when the leaves start to change colors, the kids are back in school, & everything is pumpkin spice flavored. In honor of this mystical time of year the theme for this NAVA is Magic. We’ll have games set-up like Magician Lord, Tricky Towers, & King of Dragons.

Arcade challenge! This month’s challenge is Magician Lord! You play as the wizard Elta fighting the servants of Gal & working your way to the final boss Az Atorse. Be the best at the game on this one day by logging the highest score on our arcade cabinet by 9pm & win a nifty $20 gift certificate & possibly get your name added to the "House Champion" tournament plaque on the Wall of Fame just above the arcade section of the store. Arcade challenge games are set to FREE PLAY all day, but please remember to let everyone get a shot. If you get the high score, move on, & no hogging the cabinet! Also if you have won last month’s NAVA arcade challenge you are no eligible to win this month’s challenge.

Tournament! Have you ever thought that Tetris was a little too easy, maybe a little boring even? Well what if you could accidently knock your pieces over or turn your opponent’s pieces into a windmill? Sound like fun? Then this month’s tournament is for you; it’s Tricky Towers! The best way to explain Tricky Towers is it’s Tetris with physics & a bit of magic. The way the tournament will work is the competitors will play all 3 game modes; Race, Survival, & Puzzle, & whoever wins 2 out of the 3 modes wins & moves on to the next round. We will be playing on PS4. Sign-ups begin at 3pm, the tournament starts around 6pm & its first-come, first-served in this FREE-to-join tournament.

Keep in mind from now on trade boxes cannot take up more than 5 square feet. To clarify 5 square feet is an area that is 5 feet by 1 foot, 2 & a half feet by 2 feet, or any other way that takes up that much space. Trade boxes can be more than one box; they just need to fit in that much space. We will make exceptions for those who bring art or homebrews. If you bring something you made yourself we will not prevent you from putting out both that & an appropriately sized trade box. We will also make exceptions if you have items that themselves are large, like boxed systems or special editions to certain games. If you brought a CIB Steel Battalion we’re not going to make you pack up half of your other items in your trade box. We will ask you to pack up some things if you bring a lot of large items. We cannot have such large trade boxes anymore because it’s a fire hazard.

Remember to get your trade boxes in order so we can all buy, sell & trade together. Wear your NAVA or Digital Press t-shirt for the maximum discount on store purchases. Also, bring your Nintendo 3DS to share street passes... it's NAVA time!
